Poster Series
During this crisis, I joined a community of designers at Design to Combat Covid19 where design thinking, engineering, and creative solutions can have an impact in both local and wider communities.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority is a provincial health authority serving Nova Scotia, Canada. It is the largest employer in the province, with more than 23,000 employees, 2,500 physicians and 7,000 volunteers working from 45 different facilities. Its largest hospital is the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax.
This was my first project with the group.
The task. Redesign a poster series to guide healthcare and front line workers about how to put on personal protective equipment. The hospital network was getting ready for assessing incoming patients who appear to be suffering from the onset of Covid 19.
We were given existing posters and asked “Please. Just make them better”.

Here are thumbnails of the before and after for all 5 posters.
